17th Bihar Assembly’s inaugural session begins with Members taking oath

The inaugural session of 17th Bihar Assembly commenced on Monday with members being administered the oath of workplace by Protem Speaker Jitan Ram Manjhi.

The ceremony was carried out on the central corridor of the legislature constructing with strict adherence to COVID-19 norms.

According to the schedule learn out by Mr. Manjhi, the newly elected members will probably be sworn in on the primary two days of the session, on November 23 and 24.

Members representing constituency numbers 1 to 100 will take oath throughout the first half of Monday, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and people representing constituency numbers 101 to 200, together with RJD chief Tejashwi Yadav, throughout the second half, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
