Police in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur Dehat district have booked three tv journalists on costs of airing a “baseless” information report of kids of a government college “shivering in cold” in knickers and cotton shirts during a drill at a public function on January 24.

The FIR was lodged on the Akbarpur police station on a grievance of Sunil Dutt, district primary training officer.
Mr. Dutt accused the three journalists of publishing “baseless and misleading” experiences and movies that pupils had been made to “shiver in cold” whereas performing drills and yoga.
The three, working for a neighborhood TV channel, have been recognized as Mohit Kashyap, Amit Singh and Yaseen Ali.

Kanpur Dehat District Magistrate Dinesh Chandra Singh stated, “I am pained that some journalists who were not even present here have circulated such information that the pupils were shivering in the cold.”
