34 universities adopt govt. schools

A complete of 34 authorities and personal universities in Karnataka adopted authorities schools for growth of infrastructure. Vice-Chancellors obtained adoption letters from Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa.
Mr. Yediyurappa adopted 10 authorities schools in his Shikaripura constituency whereas Deputy Chief Minister Govind M. Karjol, Social Welfare Minister B. Sriramulu and Primary and Secondary Education S. Suresh Kumar adopted 5 schools every of their constituencies.
Constituency fund
In the 2020-21 State Budget, the Chief Minister urged that legislators adopt at the least three schools of their constituencies to develop infrastructure utilizing their constituency fund.
