Health, Medical and Family Welfare Principal Secretary Anil Kumar Singhal has mentioned that greater than 39,000 individuals with COVID associated symptoms have been identified during the continuing fever survey throughout the State and all of the circumstances are being adopted up by medical groups.

Already 30% to 40% of the people identified with the symptoms have been referred for COVID testing and isolation kits have been given away to them, he mentioned.

Referring to the mucormycosis an infection (black fungus), he mentioned an in depth evaluation with all of the hospitals in the State was occurring and a transparent image will emerge quickly.
“The Central government has allocated 1,600 vials of injection to treat mucormycosis and the government will make the purchases accordingly,” mentioned Mr. Singhal.
He additional mentioned that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and the State Cabinet will take a choice on the extension of partial curfew on Monday after reviewing the state of affairs.
