5 killed in Malda plastic factory blast

“As per the disaster management Act, a compensation of ₹ 2 lakh will be given to the kin of the deceased and ₹ 50,000 for the treatment of the injured,” the Chief Secretary stated.
The Chief Minister had directed an in depth investigation into the incident.
Opposition political events have demanded a radical investigation.
