50% of private hospital beds for COVID-19 patients

The State Health Department has instructed private hospitals to allocate a minimal of 50% of their whole mattress power completely to deal with COVID-19 patients.
In an order issued on Friday, Health Secretary J. Radhakrishnan stated the Director of Medical and Rural Health Services had permitted 578 hospitals within the State to deal with patients with COVID-19 an infection, other than the federal government healthcare services. Strict compliance
“The private healthcare facilities are instructed to reduce/avoid elective and planned admissions till further orders from the government,” the GO learn. The GO has stated there needs to be no deviation from the private hospitals with regard to tips issued by the Union and State authorities.
