Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has convened an all-party assembly on July 12 to debate the (*12*) issue and has invited all of the legislature events to participate within the assembly.
The assembly has been convened at 10.30 a.m. on July 12 on the Namakkal Kavignar Maligai on the State Secretariat to mirror the views of all of the individuals of the State, and maintain consultations on the issue of Karnataka’s proposal to assemble a dam at (*12*) which has been vehemently opposed by the Tamil Nadu authorities, a press launch mentioned.
The Tamil Nadu authorities mentioned that it has been taking authorized steps to cease Karnataka from developing a dam throughout the Cauvery river at (*12*) and that Chief Minister M.K. Stalin had put forth Tamil Nadu’s stance on the matter insisting that the rights and pursuits of the farmers of Tamil Nadu be protected, throughout a gathering with Prime Minister Narendra Modi not too long ago.
The authorities mentioned Tamil Nadu Water Resources Minister Duraimurugan too had not too long ago met the Union Minister for Water Resources urging the Union authorities to take needed steps within the matter.
The launch mentioned Mr. Stalin, in reply to Karnataka Chief Minister B.S Yediyurappa’s letter that Tamil Nadu shouldn’t object to the development of the dam, had mentioned that the dam would have an effect on the welfare of Tamil Nadu farmers and that it was towards the Supreme Court’s order on the Cauvery issue.
