Leaders of Jana Sena Party led by Kona Tata Rao visited the relay starvation strike camp of Visakha Ukku Parirakshana Porata Committee at Kurmannapalem to increase solidarity with the agitating metal plant staff on Thursday.
Mr. Tata Rao stated that the JSP was towards the privatisation of the metal plant. He stated that as per the directions of JSP founder Pawan Kalyan, they’d take part within the agitations of the metal plant staff, together with the two-day dharna at Jantar Mantar in Delhi.
They demanded that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy be part of the agitation in help of the agitating staff.
Meanwhile, members of Parirakshana Porata Committee undertook a padayatra on the plant to mobilise help for the ‘Chalo Parliament’ agitation on August 2 and three.
President of the metal plant recognised union J. Ayodhya Ram stated that hundreds of staff would participate within the dharna at New Delhi.
