No Minister will resign in Karnataka: Narayana Gowda

Amid experiences of some Ministers being resentful over the frequent modifications in portfolios, Minister for Youth Empowerment and Sports and Planning K.C. Narayana Gowda on Monday stated that no Minister would resign from the federal government and Minor Irrigation Minister C.P. Yogeshwar wouldn’t be made district in-charge Minister of Mandya.
Speaking to presspersons right here after reviewing a gathering of each departments, Mr. Gowda stated that he was glad with the portfolio allotted to him and modifications in portfolios had been made to accommodate all of the legislators who helped the formation of the BJP authorities. Changes in portfolio haven’t impacted the administration, he added.
He stated Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa was able to dealing with any risk to the federal government, given his huge expertise. Now onwards, the federal government would concentrate on the event agenda, as until now the main target was on saving lives from COVID-19, he added.
Mr. Gowda stated Mr. Yogeshwar wouldn’t be given cost of Mandya district since he was from Ramanagaram. In a lighter vein, he added, “But he is welcome to Mandya for lunch and snacks.”
He additionally stated that extra funds could be sought in the Budget for 2021-22 for selling sports activities in the State.
