Aster DM Healthcare to set up 350-bed facility in city

Aster DM Healthcare will set up a 350-bed hospital in the city at an funding of ₹200 crore. The whole facility is predicted to be prepared and operational by April 2022.
A 49-bed hospital for ladies and youngsters, a 14-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a seven-bed Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) have already been set up, underneath the primary part.
The new unit will provide gynaecology, paediatric superspeciality, neonatology and foetal drugs with 24/7 emergency care. Services equivalent to labour supply suites, modular operation theatre, cardiotocography monitoring for foetal heartbeat, 3D and 4D ultrasound, and paediatric/neonatal ICUs can even be out there on the facility.
Harish Pillai, Chief Executive Officer, Aster India, mentioned: “Phase I consists of a boutique women and children hospital at an investment of ₹25 crore. We are also adding 60 additional beds to Aster Aaadhar in Kolhapur, which currently has 180 beds.”’
