Meanwhile, Ms Ravi’s buddies launched a digital marketing campaign #fingeronyourlips. Hundreds of customers posted photos with fingers on their lips, condemning her arrest and the persecution of two different activists, Nikita Jacob and Shantanu. Multiple change.org petitions have condemned the arrest, identified procedural lapses in her arrest and have demanded her speedy launch.
Student-led organisations stated the arrest was an try by the authorities to silence them.
Organisations like Students’ Federation of India are planning to stage a protest throughout the State demanding the speedy launch of Ms Ravi.
