All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) Vizianagaram district secretary Bugata Ashok on Friday alleged that the Union authorities’s new labour codes would solely profit industrialists and company sections and never labourers. Along with different leaders, he burnt copies of the labour codes and raised slogans in opposition to the federal government. Mr. Ashok mentioned that the earlier 44 Labour Acts used to guard the pursuits of labourers and their scrapping would dealt an enormous blow to them.
