‘Demand survey for housing scheme from today’

Vijayawada Municipal Corporation Commissioner V. Prasanna Venkatesh mentioned that the State authorities would conduct a requirement survey for the ‘Jagananna Smart Town’ scheme aimed toward offering reasonably priced housing for middle-income group (MIG) folks, together with authorities workers, on April 6 and seven.
In a launch, Mr. Venkatesh mentioned that the federal government intends to supply land to MIGs and develop colonies with all facilities at areas inside 5 kilometres from current city areas.
He mentioned that beneficiaries, falling within the annual revenue bracket of three to 6 lakh, can get 150 sq. yards of land, whereas these within the revenue bracket of six to 12 lakh can get 200 sq. yards and people with 12 to 18 lakh annual revenue can get 240 sq. yards plots.
He mentioned the Ward Secretariat workers would conduct the survey on Tuesday and Wednesday, and requested the general public to utilize the scheme.
