The Tamil Nadu authorities on Thursday issued instructions to all Secretaries of departments at the State Secretariat to buy pulse oximeters and thermal scanners to test oxygen ranges and temperature of workers every day.
The course was issued by Public Department Principal Secretary, P. Senthilkumar, after practically 200 staffers have examined optimistic for COVID-19 within the current days. The Tamil Nadu Secretariat Association had, in a letter to the CM on October 8, requested that solely 50% staffing be executed and people with varied well being situations be exempted from reporting to work.
