Reverse tendering saves ₹5,070 cr. to State exchequer

The authorities’s reverse tendering and judicial preview coverage helped in saving ₹5,070 crore to the State exchequer within the final two years, in accordance to an official launch.
Reverse tendering was applied primarily within the Water Resources, Municipal Administration, Education, Health & Family Welfare, Energy, Housing and Panchayat Raj Departments.
In the works associated to the Water Resources Department alone, together with the Polavaram challenge, almost ₹1,825 crore was saved throughout the above interval.
The different main financial savings are: ₹1,203 crore in housing tasks, ₹625 crore in APMSIDC, ₹604 crore within the Panchayat Raj Department, ₹486 crore in AP-Genco and ₹326 crore within the schooling sector.
