Doctors carried out an advanced caesarean surgical procedure on a pregnant girl who was COVID-19 optimistic with low oxygen saturation on the time of admission.

“The woman was refused admission in many hospitals. When we saw her, we knew it was a challenging case to deal with,” Dr. Vamsi Krishna, who led the staff of surgeons, informed the media on Monday. After placing the girl on a ventilator for every week, the medical doctors used the standardised therapy protocols and non-invasive procedures to do the C-section on her. As her situation posed danger to the child too, the post-operative care additionally turned out to be complicated.
The girl and her child, weighing 1,800 gm, have been discharged on Monday.
