Following a police grievance lodged by her husband, an FIR was lodged towards 4 individuals and 6 unidentified others on fees of assault with intent to outrage the modesty of a lady, felony intimidation and different related clauses of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the FIR, the accused then allegedly advised her, “You are seated on a chair in front of us!” and pulled her down from the chair.
They then allegedly beginning abusing her with casteist slurs and stated that “if you want to operate as a pradhan, then you have to do as we instruct you,” her husband stated in the police grievance.
