Chief Minister M.K. Stalin on Tuesday issued orders for constituting an 11-member fee to look into methods to enhance the admission of scholars from authorities colleges into professional courses (apart from drugs), if their consumption in such programmes was insufficient.
The panel will look into the admission of scholars from authorities colleges in professional programmes, similar to engineering, agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries and regulation, amongst others.
It shall be headed by retired Delhi High Court decide D. Murugesan, and it’ll submit its report to the federal government in a month, an official launch stated.
The panel will look into the socio-economic situations of scholars from authorities colleges, their challenges, if any, and the quantum of their admission into professional courses previously. It will then advocate methods to enhance their consumption.
The authorities’s determination follows a illustration that stated only some college students from authorities colleges have been being admitted into such courses.
It could also be recalled that the DMK authorities had earlier constituted a panel to study the impression of NEET on medical admissions.
