All tourism places in Karnataka, that are closed owing to the pandemic, will be opened for guests from next week.
Tourism Minister C.P. Yogeshwar on Friday mentioned the tourism sector had suffered so much, and with variety of instances declining, it was determined that tourism places might be opened for the public.
At a press convention right here, he mentioned ₹185 crore would be spent on offering higher services for vacationers on the world well-known Jog Falls in Shivamogga district. Tenders had been referred to as and Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd. would execute works at Jog Falls.
During authorities holidays, water on the price of 200 cusecs would be launched from the Linganamakki reservoir to Jog Falls in order that vacationers can savour the magic of the falls. A 35-km waterway would be developed for attracting vacationers from Kerala and Goa. Two new inns would be constructed.
Mr. Yogeshwar mentioned three star inns would be developed at Belur, Hampi, and Badami and basis stones for constructing them would be laid quickly. On the strains of ‘Brand Mysuru’, tourism would be developed in 10 districts. Development of heli tourism and coastal tourism have been different precedence areas of the division, he mentioned.
