About 40 children have been taken off a Punjab-bound train at Uttar Pradesh’s Moradabad on July 1 after native police was tipped off a suspected case of human trafficking, in keeping with an official.
All children have been under 15 years of age and have been taken off the Karambhoomi Express, which begins from Jalpaiguri in West Bengal.
However, Railway Police Inspector Sudheer Kumar mentioned the children have been travelling with family members however they’re investigating if the allegations of human trafficking are right.
