ACB traps ward secretary

Officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) trapped T. Anjaneyulu, fifth ward administration secretary of Bhimavaram municipality, in West Godavari district, when he allegedly accepted a bribe of ₹1,500.
Acting on a criticism lodged by one G. Srinivasa Rao, that the ward secretary allegedly demanded the quantity for processing the appliance of the complainant to the demand notice for property tax (home tax) for his newly constructed home in within the city.
The ACB crew caught the accused red-handed whereas allegedly accepting cash on the municipal workplace on Friday. He will likely be produced within the ACB Special Court at Rajahmundry.
