Ms Ghosh was appointed vice-president of the ladies’s wing of the party.
Mr Athawale stated the entry of Ms Ghosh and others into the party would strengthen it.

Ms Ghosh stated she joined RPI(A) to do one thing for the nation and thanked Athawale for supporting her in her struggle in opposition to Kashyap.
