Attack using drones aimed at IAF property: Air Chief

The assault on the Jammu airbase final Sunday, believed to have been carried out by drones, was a terrorist assault concentrating on the Air Force’s property, mentioned Chief of the Air Staff RKS Bhadauria on Friday. He asserted that they’d the capabilities to counter such assaults.

“That attack has failed and our assets are safe. One strike had high explosives; other was fragmentation round…,” the Air Chief mentioned at a webinar. “We have gone over the subject in terms of the implications of this kind of capabilities in the hands of non-state actors and the kind of effect the armed drone capabilities would have in future conflicts,” he acknowledged.
