AU, SVU, JNTU-K to get infra boost
The State authorities desires to see Andhra University, Sri Venkateswara University and JNTU-Kakinada within the “top ten club” of the rankings of the National Institute of Ranking Framework (NIRF).
Addressing a gathering after unveiling the bronze statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on the JNTU-Kakinada campus right here on Saturday, the Minister stated that as a part of the endeavour, the federal government was eager on creating infrastructure and bettering tutorial requirements of those establishments.
More than ₹3,600 crore was spent on the Nadu-Nedu programme, giving a facelift for the federal government colleges within the final monetary yr, he stated. In 2021-22, a sum of ₹4,000 crore could be spent on bettering infrastructure within the instructional establishments, he added. “Infrastructure in junior and degree colleges will also be improved,” stated Mr. Suresh.
