The State (*10*) Bankers’ Committee (SLBC)-Tamil Nadu has stated that enterprise hours of banks will proceed to be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., from May 24 to 30, and the branches will function with one-third employees energy, on rotation foundation, following the federal government’s announcement to implement an intense lockdown within the State.
Working hours of branches will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Administrative/zonal/regional/again places of work will function as per regular working hours, it stated in a communication to banks.
Bank branches will present fundamental important companies — money transaction (accepting deposits and money withdrawals), remittances, NEFT, RTGS and authorities enterprise and clearing of cheques, amongst different issues, it stated.
Banks want to make sure that all alternate supply channels like financial institution ATMs/money deposit machines/money recyclers and banking correspondent companies are stored totally useful always, it added.
