The Central Bureau of Investigation has booked a Delhi-based firm and its director for allegedly smuggling peacock tail feathers to a China-based entity. Several consignments of feathers have been despatched by way of 26 delivery payments from September final 12 months until February.

As it turned out, Logistic Curator India had authorised a person named Amit Mishra for submitting the export/import delivery payments and on its behalf, he had dealt with the consignment in query. Further investigation revealed that the accused had earlier shipped a number of consignments of peacock tail feathers to the entity in China following the identical modus operandi.
