Chamarajanagar deaths: HC to examine plea for compensation later

The High Court of Karnataka has stated that it might contemplate the plea for fee of compensation to members of the family of the COVID-19 sufferers who died in Chamarajanagar district, allegedly due to lack of oxygen provide, after the result of the inquiry studies is thought.

On post-mortem
On the prayer of the petitioner to direct the federal government to conduct post-mortem of the individuals who’ve died of COVID-19, the Bench stated, “We do not think that at this stage, we can issue a direction to the State government to undertake autopsy of each and every person who has died of COVID-19.”
Regarding the plea for conducting an inquiry into the demise of COVID-19 sufferers, allegedly due to lack of oxygen provide, in Kalaburagi, the Bench stated it needn’t contemplate this plea at this stage.
