The Indian Railways Infrastructure Providers Association has urged the brand new General Manager of South Western Railway Gajanan Mallya to clear the cost of payments for numerous railway tasks which were stored pending since lengthy and he has responded positively.
On Wednesday, Mr. Mallya, General Manager of South Central Railway, who has been given extra cost of South Western Railway, took cost and the affiliation office-bearers felicitated him at his workplace.
Briefing the brand new General Manager on the issues being confronted by the affiliation members, secretary of the affiliation and Managing Director of Swarna Group of Companies V.S.V. Prasad requested him to look into the problem.
Mr. Prasad informed him that payments for numerous railway tasks beneath the three divisions of SWR price ₹60 crore have been pending from September 2020 and urged him to take steps for early clearance of the payments.
According to a press launch issued by the affiliation, the General Manager responded positively and instantly gave directions to officers involved to take steps. The General Manager assured them of clearing the payments inside per week’s time and office-bearers thanked him. K. Ramanamurthy, M. Sampath Kumar, Arvind Chavan and others of the affiliation have been current, the discharge stated.
