CM responds to complaints from MLAs, says he will visit Belagavi

Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has introduced that he will visit Belagavi to examine how officers are dealing with the epidemic. This is in response to complaints from MLAs from Belagavi that the epidemic is being mismanaged.
He instructed the MLAs in a video convention name on Saturday that he will go to Belagavi and settle all points.
MLA Abhay Patil complained that officers should not cooperating with legislators within the battle towards the epidemic. He mentioned that although the State authorities has sanctioned funds for an extra oxygen plant on the Belagavi Institute of Medical Sciences, officers haven’t accorded it needed exemptions to begin the work and full it rapidly. He urged the Chief Minister to allow engineers to name a short-term native tender and begin work.
Mr. Patil objected strongly to intervention by Deputy Chief Minister and district in+cost Minister Govind Karjol. He mentioned that he was recording his observations and didn’t count on solutions from the Deputy Chief Minister.
MLA Lakshmi Hebbalkar complained to the Chief Minister that docs in authorities hospitals should not taking good care of sufferers correctly. She mentioned that non-public hospitals are charging exorbitant charges and forcing sufferers to purchase oxygen and medicines from outdoors. She additionally complained that the State authorities has not responded to her pleas to improve hospitals in rural areas by offering higher gear and a better variety of certified docs.
Responding to this, MLA Satish Jarkiholi mentioned in Belagavi on Sunday that there is no such thing as a want for district in-charge Ministers, if the Chief Minister had been to rush to each district and handle authorities affairs.
“We have always been demanding that a local leader be appointed as district in-charge Minister. An outsider will not be able to function effectively,” he mentioned. Reacting to rumours of a change in management within the State BJP unit, he mentioned that such questions will be answered in May 2023.
He criticised some BJP leaders performing agnihotra and different rituals to push back the virus. Such issues have by no means been proved to combat the virus. “If the leaders prove it, we will felicitate them in public. If rituals and other unscientific measures are enough to fight the virus, where is the need for hospitals and doctors?” he requested.
