A Mumbai courtroom on Monday granted bail to comic Bharti Singh and her husband Harsh Limbhachiya, who have been arrested after seizure of drugs from their home in Mumbai.
The Magistrate’s Court granted bail to the couple on a bond of ₹15,000 every.
Ms. Singh was arrested on Saturday by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), whereas her husband was taken into custody on Sunday morning following seizure of ganja (hashish) from their home in suburban Andheri.
On Sunday, they have been produced earlier than the Magistrate’s Court which remanded them in judicial custody until December 4.
The couple then filed bail pleas by way of their advocate Ayaz Khan which have been posted for listening to on Monday.
