Shivamogga district unit of the Congress get together took out a protest in Shivamogga on Wednesday condemning the rising fuel prices. The leaders of the get together got here in bicycles from Ashoka Circle to the Deputy Commissioner’s workplace.
Former legislator K.B. Prasanna Kumar, addressing the protesters at Gopi Circle, stated the Union and State governments have been promoting petrol and diesel at an exorbitant charge, whereas the bottom value was very low. Similarly, the Chikkamagaluru district unit of Congress staged a protest in Chikkamagaluru. The protesters raised slogans towards the Union and State governments for the rise in the worth of fuel and different important objects.
