‘Congress alone can bring SCS to State’

The Congress social gathering’s State working president N. Thulasi Reddy on Friday stated Special Category Status (SCS) would act as a panacea for all the issues ailing the State.
In a press release, he stated solely the Congress may obtain SCS for the State, which is why it was needed for the social gathering to win the Tirupati Lok Sabha by-elections.
He stated the BJP, in its election manifesto, had promised to implement SCS for Andhra Pradesh for 10 years if voted to energy. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had given his phrase to the folks of the State throughout his election assembly in Tirupati, reneged on it citing the 14th Finance Commission as an excuse. The senior Congress chief stated that even through the current elections in Puducherry, the BJP promised to grant Special Category Status to that State if the social gathering was voted to energy.
