The FIR was registered in opposition to group coach Surjit Singh and Chief Sports Officer (CSO) Khajan Singh, a DIG-level officer, underneath IPC sections of rape, sexual harassment and intimidation on the Baba Haridas Nagar police station, the police officer stated.
“After getting the complaint, we contacted the woman. She claimed that she is out of town for some personal work. She will record her statement after coming back to Delhi in a couple of days,” stated the officer.
In the criticism stated she was raped by each of them on a number of cases between 2014-17.
Harassment of girls constables
Surjit Singh allegedly harassed girls constables. Under the pretext of giving coaching, he allegedly touched her and different women inappropriately. He additionally allegedly took benefit of being the coach, requested her and different women within the group to fulfill him individually.
The CRPF, in an official assertion, said that an inquiry had been instituted. “FIR of rape charge filed against Shri Khazan Singh, DIG, by a woman constable. As far as the FIR is concerned, the department will facilitate the investigation agency in all respects,” stated a CRPF spokesperson.
