Continue three-year LL.B course in constituent school, varsity urged

Members of the All India Democratic Youth Organisation (AIDYO) have urged Karnatak University to rescind its Academic Council’s determination on discontinuing the three-year LL.B course in its constituent school and proceed the course in the curiosity of scholars.
A delegation of the Dharwad district committee of AIDYO led by president Bhavanishankar and others met Vice-Chancellor of Karnatak University A.M. Gudasi and urged him to revoke the choice of discontinuing the course at Sir Siddappa Kambali Law College, a constituent school of the college.
Recently, the Academic Council of the college had taken a call to discontinue the three-year LL.B course in the Sir Siddappa Kambali Law College, citing lack of fundamental infrastructure and absence of regulation lecturers in the school as purpose.
The delegation informed the Vice-Chancellor that because the college’s constituent school was the lone authorities school in Dharwad district that was providing the regulation course, discontinuing the course in the school would imply poor college students can be disadvantaged of regulation schooling. Closure of the course on the authorities school would additionally imply that the scholars must cough up extra charges to pursue the three-year LL.B course in non-public faculties, the delegation members mentioned.
Mr. Bhavanishankar, AIDYO secretary Hanumesh Huded and college students in the delegation urged the Vice-Chancellor to offer the requisite fundamental infrastructure and appoint required regulation lecturers to proceed the three-year regulation course.

Meanwhile, a delegation of All India Democratic Students Organisation (AIDSO) met the Registrar (Evaluation) of Karnatak University Ravindranath S.
