The district administration in Uttar Pradesh’s Kanpur, the second worst COVID-affected district, has warned of strict motion in opposition to doctors who are allegedly resigning to keep away from working throughout the pandemic.

If the probe finds them responsible, strict motion could be taken in opposition to such doctors, he stated.
“It is their responsibility to utilise their medical knowledge at this juncture for the sake of the investment made by the society in their training,” stated the DM.
