The medical superintendent of the hospital didn’t reply to cellphone calls.
BHU Registrar Neeraj Tripathi, nonetheless, confirmed that the baby had examined positive. The mother and baby are each in the labour room, he stated on Wednesday night.
“The baby’s report is COVID-19 positive. They are together as of now and will be separated soon,” he stated.
Mr. Tripathi stated he spoke to the medical superintendent of the hospital and was knowledgeable that the lady and her baby have been “both fine”.
