COVID-19: State reports 16,387 fresh infections, 463 deaths

Karnataka on Wednesday reported 16,387 new circumstances of COVID-19, taking the entire to 26,35,122. Of these, 4,095 circumstances are from Bengaluru Urban. With 463 deaths, the toll rose to 30,017. While Group ‘D’ employees and nurses in these labs shall be paid a month-to-month incentive of ₹10,000 and ₹8,000 respectively, analysis scientists, analysis assistants, lab technicians, information entry operators shall be paid ₹5,000 month-to-month incentive, in line with an official order.
