CPI seeks immediate handing over of TIDCO houses

Mr. Ramakrishna visited the TIDCO houses constructed at Suddhagedda close to Midhilapuri VUDA Colony close to Madhurawada right here on Wednesday.
Speaking on the event, he sought immediate handing over of the houses to the beneficiaries along with provision of primary facilities like energy and water. He stated that TIDCO had constructed 7 lakh houses within the State, after amassing quantities starting from ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh from them. The beneficiaries had taken loans to pay the quantities. The development of houses was accomplished at numerous locations within the State. However, provision of some primary facilities like energy and water was pending.
Mr. Ramakrishna alleged that the YSR Congress Party authorities was not handing over the finished houses to the beneficiaries as they have been constructed by the Chandrababu Naidu authorities. He stated that political variations between Mr. Jagan Mohan Reddy and Mr. Naidu shouldn’t deprive the beneficiaries of their profit.
He stated that he has already inspected the TIDCO houses at Kurnool, Anantapur, Guntur, Krishna and West Godavari districts. At some locations, the flooring was additionally accomplished.
