The Dharampuri police launched She Care, a campaign for protection of women, right here on Monday. The campaign on wheels was flagged off by Pradip Kumar, DIG, Salem vary.
She Care envisions protecting 273 villages and 1,196 hamlets inside eight months, with a slated goal of elevating consciousness on protection of women throughout the board.
According to the police, the target consists of containing crimes in opposition to kids and women, stopping feminine foeticide, serving to in aid and rehabilitation of victims, participating with the civil society to create consciousness on protection for women, creating consciousness on the ills of little one marriage and early marriage, dowry harassment, sexual abuse and harassment. The campaign will rope in an array of consciousness programmes together with distribution of pamphlets, leaflets and quick movies.
