Entry to island: HC adjourns MPs’ petition

The Kerala High Court adjourned to July 7 listening to on a writ petition by Elmaram Kareem, A.M.Ariff, and V.Sivadasan, CPI(M) MPs in search of a directive to the Lakshadweep administration to difficulty them permits to go to the island.
The petitioners mentioned that they they wished to go to the island to perceive the present state of affairs and listen to the grievances of the folks in Lakshadweep.
Though they’d approached the Administrator for an entry allow, they have been requested to postpone their go to.
The petitioners have been denied permission as a result of the administration wished to cover its oppressive and arbitrary actions.
The Administrator had visited the island and returned with out complying with the COVID protocol and present SOP. The motion of the Administrator in denying them entry permits was arbitrary and unconstitutional, they contended.
