Energy Minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy has stated that power could be equipped to all agriculture feeders freed from value for 9 hours in the course of the day time from the approaching kharif season.

The installation of power meters for agriculture pumpsets will not be detrimental to farmers’ interests. Rather, it will help obtain the accurate consumption data,” stated the Minister.

Mr. Srinivasa Reddy clarified that the federal government has no intention to cut back the salaries of electrical energy staff. He maintained that salaries would proceed to be paid as per the 2018 Pay Revision Commission (PRC) suggestions.
