A classes court in Goa on Tuesday stated it would pronounce the verdict in the Tarun Tejpal case on May 12.

The extra district court was to pronounce the verdict on Tuesday. Judge Kshama Joshi adjourned the verdict to May 12.
(*12*) prosecutor Fransisco Tavares stated the decide made the announcement with out citing a purpose for the postponement of the judgement.
The Goa police registered an FIR towards Tejpal in November 2013 following which he was arrested. He has been out on bail since May 2014.
The Goa crime department had filed a cost sheet towards Tejpal.
He confronted trial below IPC Sections 341 (wrongful restraint), 342 (wrongful confinement), 354 (assault or felony drive with intent to outrage modesty), 354-A (sexual harassment), 354-B (assault or use of felony drive to lady with intent to disrobe), 376(2)(f) (individual in place of authority over girls, committing rape) and 376(2){k}) (rape by individual in place of management).
He had earlier moved the Bombay High Court, looking for a keep on the framing of expenses towards him, however his petition was dismissed.
