Google on Tuesday introduced the roll out of ‘News Showcase’ in India with 30 information publishers, together with nationwide, regional and native information organizations.

He added that this program incentivises and helps information publishers to curate prime quality content material on Google News and Discover platforms, connecting readers with the information they want.
The content material from Indian writer partners in English and Hindi will start to seem in devoted News Showcase panels in Google News and on Discover, with assist for extra Indian languages to be added in the longer term.
“As part of the licensing agreements with publishers, Google will pay participating news organizations to give readers access to a limited amount of paywalled content.
