Government fines ₹75 lakh on Sai Sudha hospital, books officials

East Godavari Joint Collector Ch. Additional DMHO has mentioned that the hospital could be seized if any additional violations could be uncovered within the investigation being carried out concurrently by the State authorities and the police.
In a separate criticism lodged by the sufferer’s household,Kakinada City police have registered instances in opposition to Dr. Vadrevu Ravi and Sai Sudha Hospital Manager Mr. Kalam beneath IPC section188, 420 and 384, the Epidemic Act and Disaster Management Acts.
III-Town Circle Inspector S.R.Koteswara Rao instructed The Puucho: “The medical treatment records of the deceased, O.Satyanarayana, have been seized from the hospital and sent to the Health Department to investigate the alleged medical negligence”.
Mr. Koteswara Rao has added that the hospital authorities didn’t difficulty any mode of payments to the affected person. The police have intensified the investigation into the alleged violations of the COVID-19 therapy and price pointers by the Sai Sudha Hospital.
