The authorities on Tuesday introduced a national-level voluntary online exam on ‘gau vigyan’ (cow science) to be held on February 25, in a bid to generate curiosity amongst college students and normal public in regards to the indigenous cow and its advantages.
Announcing the first-ever exam of this sort, Rashtriya Kamdhenu Aayog (RKA) Chairman Vallabhbhai Kathiria stated this exam shall be held yearly.
Students of major, secondary and school ranges and normal public can participate within the ‘Kamdhenu Gau-Vignyan Prachar-Prasar Examination’ with none payment.
“For raising mass awareness about the indigenous cows among young students and every other citizens, the RKA decided to conduct a national exam on cow science,” he instructed reporters.

The RKA chief additionally talked about that it has obtained good response from varisities for organising a chair and analysis centres on cow and associated points.
The RKA, which comes below the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairying, was arrange by the Centre in February 2019, and is aimed toward “conservation, protection and development of cows and their progeny”.
