Groundnut seed registration in phase I off to good start in Anantapur

The demand for groundnut seeds from farmers was encouraging on the primary day on Monday as 7,406 farmers registered to buy the seeds on D-Krishi app at Rythu Bharosa Kendras in Anantapur district.
Joint Director Agriculture Y. Ramakrishna mentioned that out of seven,406 farmers, 3,856 made the cost of ₹1,76,19,185 for 3,383 quintals. Those who didn’t pay can be given 72 hours time from the time of registration to pay the quantity. The supply of the K 6 number of groundnut seed can be made obtainable from May 17 to those that register and make cost. The complete operation can be executed in three phases in every mandal with registrations for the second phase opening on May 17, and third phase on May 21.
Demand for doorstep supply
Meanwhile, the A.P. Rythu Sangham leaders in Obuladevaracheruvu mandal demanded provide of groundnut seeds on the farmers’ doorstep. This provision has, nevertheless, not been made by the State authorities, the Joint Director mentioned.
