HC stays Kannur University decision to hold online interviews
The Kerala High Court on Tuesday stayed the decision of Kannur University to conduct online interviews for the collection of candidates to the publish of assistant professor within the UGC- Human Resource Development Centre within the varsity.
Justice Bechu Kurian Thomas handed the keep order on a writ petition filed by Bindu M.P. of Chavussery, Kannur, difficult the method adopted by the college to fill the publish.
The petitioner alleged that the college was taking hasty steps to appoint Sahala, spouse of A.M. Shamseer, CPI(M) MLA, violating all the choice norms. The methodology adopted by the varsity whereas making use of the rules of reservation within the technique of recruitment was completely arbitrary and unconstitutional.
