Health Minister asks officials to supply water through tankers
Health Minister Alla Kali Krishna Srinivas has requested the Panchayati Raj, Rural Water Supply and Health Department officials to guarantee there have been no new instances of gastroenteritis, after 4 individuals died prior to now two days both due to supply of contaminated water or having meals that was not match for consumption.
About 50 instances of gastroenteritis have been reported at Gorukallu village in Gadivemula Mandal on Tuesday and Wednesday reportedly due to contamination of consuming water equipped through pipelines. According to District Collector G. Veerapandian, the pipelines have been 20 years outdated, and the water received contaminated due to a leak.
The Health Minister requested the engineers to instantly prepare supply of water through tankers to all villages, the place contamination was reported.
District Medical and Health Officer Rama Giddaiah instructed the Minister that not one of the three deaths within the village have been due to the gatroenteritis. He stated that 43 of the 50 individuals who had fallen sick had recovered and returned house, whereas 4 have been being handled within the village medical camp and three have been being handled within the Government Hospital at Nandyal. Four individuals had gone to personal hospitals, the place their situation was being monitored.
A survey was being carried out by the well being division officials to discover out if anybody within the village had any signs of the gastroenteritis or every other well being issues.
