Mr. Vadra again questioned the timing, within the context of the continued farmers’ protest
The Income-Tax division recorded the statement of Robert Vadra, husband of Congress chief Priyanka Vadra, for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.
The I-T officers reached Mr. Vadra’s residence round 2.30 p.m. and left after about 4 hours.
Mr. Vadra again questioned the timing, within the context of the continued farmers’ protest. He informed reporters he answered all of the queries and would proceed to cooperate within the probe.
On Monday, an I-T official had mentioned Mr. Vadra’s statement was being recorded in reference to an investigation underneath the Benami Transactions (Prohibition) Act.
