IEDs defused in J&K’s Pulwama

An IED was destroyed by a bomb disposal squad with out inflicting any harm.
Soon after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) was noticed and defused in Awantipora’s Panzgam on Monday, safety forces defused a second IED in south Kashmir’s Pulwama.
Officials stated the police and the safety forces noticed the second IED in an orchard in Saimoh Tral in Awantipora, Pulwama district. A Bomb Disposal Squad was instantly rushed to the spot.
According to the police, there have been inputs that militants have been planning to hold out IED assaults on the safety forces, “which shall be spectacular”.
“Acting swiftly on the tip off, two IEDs have been recovered from two different places in Awantipora area. Major incidents have been averted by the police and the security forces,” a police spokesman stated.
